Andorra

After over a week of camping, we were pretty keen for the luxury of a cheap hotel room.
As we left Pamplona, we decided to head for Andorra, a minicountry that sits in the Pyrenees on the border of France and Spain.
It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, and Andorra was just what we were looking for.
The country is tiny, only 468 sq km, but it is beautiful. The capital, and only town, Andorra La Vella, is a stunning little ski city. Surrounded by mountains the small city would be amazing to see in the winter, covered with snow.
It was nice to have the comfort of a hotel, a bed with a doona and a shower that wasn't communal.
Andorra has a huge range of stores and shopping centres, and not tax! But still we had to restrain ourselves, well Sam had to restrain me..

It was a nice little break in a place that was so completely different from Spain, but neither of us could wait to get back into France.
