Our last two days in New York were spent relaxing. After ticking every tourist attraction we wanted to see off the list, we spent some time just wandering through the streets. We went to Macy’s New York, ‘the biggest store in the world’ and the other stores nearby.
We didn’t go up but we saw the Empire State Building.
For dinner we caught the subway to Little Italy! It was awesome, such a cool little area of New York. Small italian restaurants lined the street while the Sunday night market shut down the roads. It was great!
Our last day was spent on Fifth Avenue. It was a lovely day, although Fifth Avenue just isn’t quite as fun and exciting when you don’t have any money to spent there. As pretty as Tiffany’s New York is, I was still left disappointed when I left without a little blue bag in my hand.

All in all our time in New York, Idaho and Colorado was fantastic. We both do really love the States and we had a really great time there. It was a perfect start too the trip, we got to spend time with friends and in some comfortable surroundings to help us ease into the world of traveling.

Now off to the next stage, United Kingdom!
