New York, New York!

After the bumpiest plane ride either of us had ever experienced, we landed safe and sound in New York City!
We arrived early in the morning with very little sleep behind us, but we still managed to fit a whole lot in. Our apartment is small but perfect and only a short walk from a subway station and times square.
Monday, which was Memorial Day here, we spent exploring times square. Checking out the stores and sights of the area. We caught the subway up to Central Park before having classic New York pizza for dinner just off of Fifth Avenue.
Tuesday we spent almost the whole day wandering through the amazing exhibits at the American Natural History Museum. They have all different exhibits on the animals and people of the world, both past and present. Our favourite part was the North American animals.
For dinner we stayed in, cooking spaghetti bolognese. Which I have to say was possibly even better than OGP bolognese.
Today we walked. A lot.
All the way down to Grand Central Station, then back to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Stopping at the New York Public Library on the way.
So far New York has been amazing, we love it here. Plus tomorrow is Sam's birthday, which is exciting! YAY!
